Why are we here?

Our mission is simple: to celebrate Sri Lanka’s rich textile heritage in the contemporary home - inviting a slower, more intentional way of living through the objects we choose to keep close.

These weavers are keeping a 2,000-year-old craft alive.

Rooted in tradition, we are committed to preserving time-honoured craftsmanship and celebrating the artistry of handwoven textiles. We create unique pieces that foster a sense of connection to your space.

How are our pieces made?

Each textile is hand-dyed by skilled artisans and woven on a manually operated wooden loom, requiring no electricity. This traditional, labor-intensive method involves interlacing threads by hand to create intricate patterns, a process that takes days and results in pieces that are one of a kind. Some of our weaving techniques are heritage art forms recognised by UNESCO.

Nothing is mass-produced; only a limited quantity of each product is made.

What impact do we hope to make?

Handloom weaving plays a pivotal role in rural communities, especially in empowering women, by providing sustainable employment and fostering socio-economic growth. As technology and AI reshape industries, ancient crafts become even more vital, grounding us in the human experience.

These weavers are keeping a 2,000-year-old craft alive. Preserving traditional weaving not only celebrates heritage but also sustains the artistry, skill, and cultural narratives that connect us to our past.

What do we stand for?

In an industry often driven by speed, trends, scalable production and fast consumption, we’re choosing a slower, more intentional path. We believe homeware should be more than just functional or on trend — it should tell a story, reflect values, and contribute to something greater. Each piece we create is made with care, designed to last, and rooted in purpose.

What do we hope to build?

Our aim is to create pieces where beauty and function coexist in harmony with sustainability, where each purchase supports not just a home, but a wider community.

Let’s reflect on how a piece resonates; not only with your aesthetic, but with your values. When homeware is crafted with purpose — slowly, sustainably, and in connection with place and people, it becomes something to live with, not just to be seen.

Let’s reconsider how we live with the objects we invite into our spaces — perhaps with thoughtfulness, intention, and care.

We are based in Naarm (Melbourne).
